FIND YOUR ORBIT

A welcoming environment to nurture your unique path to growth.

Philosophy

In astronomy, the moon Elara was once a wanderer—a journey that began outside the reach of Jupiter. Eventually, she was drawn into its orbit to become a permanent part of its celestial family. It is a story of coming home. Many of us know the feeling of drifting, navigating worlds where we don’t quite seem to fit or where our unique light is overlooked. My philosophy is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves a steady centre of gravity.

Growth is never a uniform process; every person requires an environment tailored to their specific needs. A pillar of this practice is the understanding that each path is shaped by a unique history and identity. This serves as the foundation for a journey that honours your individual pace and returns you to your natural rhythm. Here, your identity is not a challenge to overcome; it is the soil from which you grow.

Methodology

Effective psychotherapy is a balance of empathy and evidence. My practice integrates the structured clarity of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with the transformative depth of Schema and Emotion-Focused work. By blending these modalities with Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, I provide a clinical framework that honours both your current challenges and your personal history. Our objective is to move beyond symptom relief, nurturing the psychological flexibility required for a meaningful and lasting transition.

About Me

In 2019, I began my own journey as a wanderer, moving from Bulgaria to the Netherlands. This personal transition allowed me to experience firsthand the quiet weight of navigating a new cultural landscape—the feelings of loneliness, the challenge of belonging, and the experience of being seen as the ‘other.’ I understand the delicate process of finding your center when the world around you feels unfamiliar, and that true progress requires more than just a plan; it requires an environment where your unique history is respected.

My clinical work is a reflection of this lived experience. Having supported LGBTQIA+ asylum seekers and refugees across the Netherlands, I have dedicated my practice to those who navigate complex transitions and seek a sense of belonging. My approach is built on the belief that while your history may be shaped by displacement or stigma, it is also the very ground from which your resilience grows.

With a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Utrecht University and a foundation in evidence-based care, I provide a stable, welcoming environment to nurture your unique path forward. Here, we work to transform the feeling of being an outsider into a grounded sense of self, returning you to your own natural rhythm.

Whether we are working through structured interventions or creating a safe space for quiet reflection, my goal is to provide the stability you need to take root and move forward with clarity.
